Out to Lunch with Uncle Scott

My oldest brother Scott and I were able to meet in Salt Lake and go to lunch together last week. He was visiting from California and so Greysen and I met up with him. Greysen thought Scott was great and was at ease with him. We walked around the mall watching Greysen run and run. Then we went to Cheesecake Factory where Greysen bounced all over the place and tried to climb over the booth to someone else's table. We had a good time though.

Carpenter Greysen

Greysen loves to play with his set of tools. Lately he wants to wear the hat and belt and measure everything. He has been at a very fun age and is becoming much easier even though he is two. We haven't hit the terrible two stage yet but he definitely already went through the obnoxious one year old stage. Last week it was getting close to naptime and I was downstairs cleaning up while Greysen went exploring upstairs. It was a little too quiet so I was worried that he was into the lipstick drawer or making a mess elsewhere. I went upstairs and he had put himself down for a nap. There he was in his crib fast asleep. It was so precious and made me laugh at the same time. Such a neglectful mom I am. This was a once in a lifetime moment because he hasn't done it since. What a cutie.
