Kite Flying and Slip'n Slide

First time Greysen flew a kite. Luckily Daddy was there to assist because it has been decades since I flew a kite. He had a blast.

He loved splashing us with water.
Look at that tongue sticking out.
Greysen got a slip'n slide for his birthday and we had a blast Saturday afternoon. I even got in my bathing suit and took a few runs down the slip'n slide. Piper just watched us outside. Greysen had so much fun and LOVES the water. Hopefully he can do some swim lessons before the summer ends.

Greysen's Dinosaur Party

Greysen had 5 friends over for his Dino Party. Activities included a Dinosaur egg hunt, a dinosaur egg toss, Dinosaur gliders, digging for Dinosaur fossils (in the sandbox). We then read a Dinosaur book, played Dinosaur Dinosaur Egg (duck duck goose), ring around the rosy, ate cake, opened presents and ran around some more. It was the first party where just the friends come over. Fun was had by all. Happy 3rd Birthday Greysen!

Having a dinosaur egg toss with water balloons
Greysen excited to have friends over and 6 balloons.
I made Greysen's Dinosaur cake the night before and I was not happy with the way it turned out. I thought why do I even bother when I could have just made cupcakes. The next morning Greysen was downstairs with his daddy and saw the cake and got on a stool to take a closer look and said, "That my cake? It's a cool cake, I love it daddy." Then he came upstairs and thanked me for the cake. I was glad I tried my best and thought if he's happy then I am happy. This was where I found Greysen after all his friends went home. Sneaky little guy.

Greysen is potty trained and loves to hold his sister

Greysen began potty training the day after he turned 3. I just had a talk with him and said today you are going to wear big boy underwear and pee on the potty so that you can go to pre-school in August. He got a Popsicle every time he went pee in the potty. After 10 mins of potty training he managed to pee and poop his pants. I wasn't sure I could do it. Day two he peed on the floor at Walmart. Overall the first three days I was a wreck and was emotionally drained at the end of the day. It hasn't been 2 weeks and he is pretty much daytime trained and has pooped in the potty everytime (after the first day). We went through lots of marshmallows, Popsicles, cookies, jelly bellies, and lollipops and it was worth it. For this kid it was all about treats!Greysen had definitely taken more interest in Piper, which drives me crazy. He wants to hold her, loves to zurbert her bare belly, touch her face (that one kills me), and do round and round the garden like a teddy bear on her hand (which is really precious).

Piper's Baby Blessing

I love this picture. This was after the blessing and she was asleep and I didn't want to take her dress off so I stuffed it in the carseat.
Piper finally awake. She did fabulous during her blessing. Didn't cry at all. A way different experience than her brother Greysen who screamed through his blessing. Daddy did a great job on blessing her.

Greysen's Pre Birthday Party

My baby is turning 3. I can't believe it.
Blowing out the candles.
Opening the presents was so fun to watch. He loved his cape his aunt Diana made, New helicopters (hepatoppas) and cars, along with a cool buzz lightyear gun.
Grammy got Greysen binoculars which he loves and calls them his nockulars. He looks through them backwards but thinks they're awesome.
All the Family was in town so we decided to celebrate Greysen's Birthday Party a week in advance. It's a good thing we did because I got Mastitis the next week and he was still sick on his actually Birthday. More pictures to come on his Dinosaur party.

Greysen's First Set of WHEELS: Power Wheels that is

So excited with all the power.
He loves the bed of the truck and the first thing he did when he got in the backyard was collect all the balls and put them in the bed of the truck.
So happy to have his own set of wheels. Such a spoiled boy.
Grandma and Grandpa bought Greysen his first set of wheels for his 3rd Birthday. He is so excited to drive his truck all over the neighborhood. His driving skills are pretty good so far. Greysen is very good about sharing and letting his friends drive him around. Here is Elizabeth driving with Victoria and Greysen as passengers.

Shumways come to visit from GEORGIA

We found a water park in Highland that was fun. Here Greysen is loving life.
Lacey 3 yrs, Greysen 2 yrs, Jones 6 yrs. Greysen had so much fun playing with Lacey and Jones. He calls them his cousins and wants them to come back. Maybe we'll get to fly to Georgia and see them soon.
