Two Months Old!

Greysen is now two months old and after weeks of trying to get a picture of him smiling for the camera I finally succeeded. He went to the doctor last Friday for his two month checkup. He got two shots and a drink and will go back in a couple days for the other three shots. Friday night was the first time he slept through the night from 10pm-7am. He hasn't slept through the night since so I am pretty certain it was the shots that made him sleep. Greysen is 23 1/4 inches=60% 11 lbs. 14 oz.=50% head circumference is 40 cm.=50%. His doctor said he is doing great and is a very well proportioned little boy.

August 31, 2008 Greysen's Blessing

It was so nice to have MacKinlay's whole family come from Vancouver, CANADA for the Greysen's baby blessing. It was a fun labor day weekend.

Greysen was asleep when we got to church. He was fed with a clean diaper but when it came time to bless him he woke up and cried throughtout the entire blessing.

My Baby is Getting so BIG!

It has been 7 weeks since I had Greysen and I am so sad at how fast he is growing. I love looking at his baby pictures and reflecting on the day he was born.

First Time to California!

Greysen got to meet my brother's Scott and David's family for the first time. It was the first time my Dad met Greysen. Flying with a 6-week old isn't as easy as everyone said but we still had a fun time.

First Time at the Beach!

Greysen and I flew to California and went to Carpinteria with grammy, Lala, Shelly, Rylee and Gavin. We ate at the Spot and Foster's Freeze. This is the beach that I always went to as a little girl. The beach wore Greysen out and he slept all afternoon.

I'm getting big and strong

My dad will say the funniest things sometimes! Just another day contemplating life's mystery's. I went to the doctor today for my 2 week check-up. He said that I am almost back up to my
birth weight of 7 pounds 13 ounces. I'm now 7 pounds 10 ounces! I have gotten a whole inch and a quarter taller. 6 feet, here I come!
