Christmas Morning

I was surprised to see how interested Greysen was in some of the toys he got from Santa in his stocking. It was just the three of us at home and it was a very fun Christmas.

Here is Greysen and Daddy coming downstairs to see what Santa has brought.
This is our Holiday Poem to all our friends:
The best thing that happened in 2008
Was we had a cute baby; Greysen is great

Greysen hates to lie on his tummy
But when he rolls over his smile is gummy

Perhaps everyone did hear
That MacKinlay has started a new career

With his benefits my baby was twenty dollar
And with a c-section you have got to Holler

Greysen loves his exersaucer he sure is a wiggler
And when we play peek-a-boo he is a big giggler

MacKinlay was hanging lights; but I sure did goof
I forgot to hold the ladder and he fell off the roof

He broke his arm in four places and felt really crappy
But Percocet to the rescue has made him rather happy

We hope this Christmas letter finds you doing fine
So here’s to a Happy Two-Thousand and Nine

Love,
The Timms Family

Christmas Eve Pajamas!

A tradition that we have is to get pajamas on Christmas Eve. We had Christmas Eve dinner at the Boyles. We made sugar cookies and decorated them, had dinner, did the Christmas play, watched Santa and the 3 bears on U-tube and opened Jammies. It was a lot of fun.

Playing Catch with Daddy.

Greysen loves when daddy plays ball with him.

Christmas/Winter blanket

I finally finish my Christmas/Winter Scrap Blanket that I started before Thanksgiving. Here Greysen is on it at 5 months old. His jammies say, "Bone to be Wild" and they have skulls and bones on them. Cute, huh?

Greysen can touch his toes!

Greysen loves to suck on his toes when he gets a diaper change.

Polor Express Night

On Saturday night we went to the Boyle's for Polor Express night. We had hot chocolate and cookies before watching the movie. MacKinlay thought it would be fun to lay on the floor and watch the movie. It was the first time seeing this film and we thought it was really cute.

Here is Greysen watching the movie.
Here is Jada watching the movie.
Shana watching the movie and Zane on the internet.
Candid shot of the kids on the floor watching the movie.

Christmas Pictures

We got about 3" of snow last night. We took some Christmas pictures to send out after Greysen and I shoveled the driveway.

Family on the Motorcycle

Here we all are. On the bike. Greysen is now 5 months old and 15lbs. He is such a giggly baby.

Our Precious Cargo

I went to Walmart lastnight to buy a few things and left Greysen with Daddy. When I came home there were pictures of Greysen in MacKinlay's saddle bag. I hope he doesn't plan on taking him around the block!

THE EXERSAUCER

Greysen is a big fan of the exersaucer that we bought at Rachel's garage sale. The only negative is when he is standing in it and poops it always seems to go right up his back. He stayed in here for 20 minutes today while I did pilates. Such a good little boy!

Gingerbread Houses

I made my first gingerbread house from scratch this year. Cade and Sage were over for Thanksgiving with the family, grammy, R.H., Lala and Gavin. After dinner we decorated the gingerbread houses I had made. It made me feel good when Sage thought that the gingerbread house was made from a kit that I bought.

Gavin and Greysen

Gavin and Lauren came to Utah for two weeks with Grammy to visit new baby Jada Boyle. Gavin and Greysen are only 10 months apart. It was so much fun to have them here and have our families together for Thanksgiving.

PEEK-A-BOO

MacKinlay found out today that Greysen loves PEEK-A-BOO. MacKinlay sat him on our bed and hid behind the foot board and when he jumped up to say, "BOO" Greysen giggled and giggled. He thought it was the best thing. We finally got him giggling on camera so enjoy!

FOUR MONTHS OLD!

Greysen is now four months old and he is such a happy boy when he isn't sad. We are so excited to be the parents of this little sweet baby.

MacKinlay's real Birthday, November 2nd

MacKinlay took Greysen for a hour because I was so tired. He put him in the Baby Bjorn and played fooseball with his dad and brother Mike. He and Greysen beat both of them. Way to Go!

Here is Greysen with a big smiling face. What a cutie!

This was MacKinlay's birthday at his parents house. He and Greysen got matching beenies from Jay and Robyne but I wasn't able to get a picture fast enough. This is MacKinlay favorite ice-cream cake from Baskin Robbins. I only spring for the $.99 cake from Betty Crocker. He is lucky his mom likes him so much.

MacKinlay's Best Friend in CANADA

This is MacKinlay with his best friend Ryan who lives in Canada and just finished dental school. MacKinlay has been friends with Ryan since he was 2 and Ryan was 3. They haven't seen eachother in almost 4 years so it was fun for the two of them to catch upHere is Joseph and Edwin who are Ryan and Sharon's two little boys. They took an immediate liking to MacKinlay and liked to fight with him.
Here we are all together at Ryan and MacKinlay's favorite place to eat, Moby Dicks fish and chips. Sharon and I were not fans of the awful smell. We tried to eat outside until it started to pour on us and we had to run from the beach inside the restaurant.
Here is Greta 6 months and Greysen 3 months holding hands. Our niece Leigha saw them holding hands while we were eating dinner. It was so cute. By the time I got my camera they stopped. Then they did it again but I was a little late with the camera.

MacKinlay's Birthday at Home.

Greysen got MacKinlay a beenie for his birthday.
I got MacKinlay a pair of shoes but they were not what he had in mind.
It took a long time to blow up all those balloon. Cade, Sage, Shana and Zane came over for dinner and cake. I bought confetti poppers and Sage and Cade had a lot of fun with those.
Here MacKinlay is blowing out his candles.

Greysen's First Halloween!

This was Greysen so happy to be out trick or treating on halloween. I was bouncing him in the air and he was cracking up.
Mommy with Greysen as we were trick or treating.

This is Elizabeth who is the daughter of Mike, MacKinlay's brother. She was the cutest little frog and after a couple houses she really got into the spirit of things and would walk from house to house and say twick ore tweat. It was adorable and MacKinlay was wishing Greysen would grow up faster.
Greysen dressed up as a teddy bear with Daddy on Halloween night.

We went to the rec center in Lehi with Cade and Sage the week before Halloween and had a lot of fun watching them. It isn't easy trying to draw wiskers on a wiggly baby.

Greysen is 100 days old

Greysen celebrated 100 days since his birth. We were in California and it was the same day as my parents 49th anniversary. We ordered in Cheesecake Factory for dinner.

Tiffany-Ann and Gavin in California

Tiffany-Ann and Gavin came to visit Greysen and I at my mom's house. I hadn't seen Tiffany-Ann in about 4 years and it was great to catch up with her and meet Gavin who was 7 months at the time. Greysen was 3 months at the time.

Haley's Baby Blessing

Greysen dressed in his church duds.
MacKinlay holding his first born and Eldon hold his first born.
Today we went to Eldon and Robyn Kearl's ward to witness the blessing of Haley Lynn. It was a beautiful blessing and we were happy to be there.

Recognizing the Camera!

Greysen is starting to pose for the camera. Today when I sat him on the chair to take a picute he began to get fussy. As soon as he saw the flash on the camera he started to give me big grins and happy smiles. Then he was finished and back to fussing. What a funny little boy.
