Disneyland 2010

Greysen's second time to Disneyland. Once when he was 7 mos and at Christmas when he was almost 2 1/2. He loved it but it was really crowded and we didn't get on much. He loved the Disney characters the most. He wanted to keep going on rides but the lines were crazy. He did like it's a small world and the buzz lightyear ride a lot. The drops on Pirate had him hanging onto my neck for dear life. Overall he had fun and I think he'll love next Christmas when we are on the Disney Cruise and he can eat breakfast with Mickey Mouse.
Greysen 29 mos. baby girl in belly 18 weeks. I was just starting to get over the horrible 24 hr a day nausea. This is in front of It's a small world.
They Boyles with Goofy. We had a fun group with the Boyle family, Wilkinson family, my mom, Peyton and Rylee, and Greysen and me. A group total of 14 people makes it hard to stay together. Greysen meeting Goofy. He absolutely loved it and loves looking at the pictures of him with the puppy Goofy.Peyton, Goofy, Becky and Reese.

We went to toon town and got to meet Minnie at her house. Greysen loved it and Presley and Jada were in Heaven. Jade was in line saying I kiss Minnie. Presley was tickled by Minnie and talked about it for the next two days.
Jada waiting and being so excited to see Minnie.
Greysen and Presley playing in Minnie's house.
Greysen loves horses and really like the carrousel ride.Presley waiting in line just being a cutie pie.
Greysen wanted to ride on Dumbo after the carrousel. But with a two hour wait he just sat on one of the Dumbo's.
Greysen put way too many bunny crackers in his mouth when we were in line for Pirates and it started slipping out of his mouth onto Rylee. Shana and I couldn't stop laughing.
So it was an eventful day at Disneyland and I will never go back after Christmas again. It was crazy busy but still fun. Lauren and Gavin didn't come because Gavin doesn't like Disneyland and MacKinlay was meeting a contact from work in Brea so he got out of going, which was probably a really good thing.

Greysen Says the funniest things

Greysen is now 2 and a half and is starting to say really funny things. He took a little while to talk but now he's on a roll. He is really obsessed with money and he loves coins. We drive by Mac's work a lot and he loves to say, "Daddy work, wook mom." I asked him what daddy does at work and he told me "daddy make money" I was cracking up because a couple week before he pointed out Daddy's work and I said yep daddy's making money because he's a financial advisor. So now he says "daddy make money" and I asked him yesterday if mommy makes money and he said "no". Pretty soon he'll be saying "mommy spend money".
Greysen's favorite movie is Astroboy the past few days that is all he wants to watch. He wakes up and the first thing he says is "watch Astroboy". He is a cutie and keeps us smiling. Our favorite is the way he says okay and instead of saying coming he say "toming". His other big thing lately is to make castles. He likes to take a blanket and put it over the couch to make a fort but he calls it a "tastle" for castle. He is a bouncy boy and is always jumping and loves to fly like superman off our bed, which makes me nervous that he will break something. He loves me to watch movies with him and is constantly giving me the overview and turns my head and say, "wook mom they fly high in sky."

Up to Date

So MacKinlay hurt his back again on New Year's Eve. Not the best way to bring in the new year. He has since had an MRI and they found a piece of disc floating around in his back and pushing on a nerve and he is in a lot of pain. He has been off work since the 5th of January and is in lot's of pain. Poor Greysen always hears from me that my belly hurts and from daddy that his back hurts. Hopefully he can have surgery within the next couple weeks to get rid of the pain. Surgery a second time around is worse than the first but he is in so much pain.

Christmas Part 2

We got back home and Greysen had more presents waiting for him to open from Grandma and Grandpa. He was sure excited to get more toys. Books and Stickers, toys and clothes. This little boy is so spoiled.
Here he is unwrapping some adorable Roots' sweats.
Don't you just love the "say cheese" face. He is a pro at this one. But he isn't really smiling. A thank you to Mac's parents for sending us so many fun things and I got a roasting pan that will surely come in handy.

Christmas 2010

This was the first time in at least 4 years that all the six siblings were together at my parents house in California for Christmas. It was a packed house and getting ready for 9am church the day after Christmas with 16 people was a challenge but we all made it. Even my dad went to church for the first time in a long time.
All Greysen wanted Santa to bring him was a Sally car that could slide down his 'cars' ramp. It was so cute. I convinced him that he also wanted Santa to bring him a woody doll with a string. When we ask him what Santa brought him he says, "blue snacks" which is code for fruit snacks. He didn't care about the toys but boy was he excited to get his blue snacks that is an occasional treat.
Santa came on Christmas morning as a surprise. Greysen thought it was pretty cool. Presley was a crack up. She saw Santa and was grinning and giggling like crazy. She was shaking she was so excited.
Reese and Presley sitting on Santa's lap. They are the opposite of Gavin who doesn't want anything to do with Santa. When his mom Lauren asked him what he wanted Santa to bring him he said, "I don't want Santa to bring me something. I want Santa to bring you a pillow pet and Thomas trains and then you can give them to me. This is the second year in a row he has not been a fan of Santa. We'll see what he does next year.
Jada wasn't afraid of Santa and had a grin from ear to ear.
Greysen was super excited to get a dinaco helicopter. I kept putting it away and all day he would say blue copter and do the sign language for helicopter.
Here is Greysen and Mommy with his woody action figure and sally car.
Greysen loves to read. He got some classics in his stocking. His most favorite book these days is "mother book" which is what he calls, "Are you my Mother".
Greysen got a Mickey Mouse Pez that he was pretty excited about. He loves Mick and the rest of the Mickey Mouse clubhouse characters.
Here is Reese, Presley's older sister. She is a little more reserved while holding the hampster and she is such a sweetie to Greysen. Greysen just adores his cousin Reese-E.
This is Presley. Becky and Brian's youngest girl. She is such a doll and so good natured. She loved holding Rylee and Peyton's hampster on Christmas eve.
Christmas morning with aunt La La, Gavin, and Bop bop. Greysen got a Buzz Lightyear for Christmas and Gavin was a little envious. We put buzz in Greysen's bed because the kids were fighting over him. Gavin would go in our room and exchange his prized trains that Santa brought him for buzz. It was making me crack up. Fortunately he got to go 2 days later to the store and buy his own buzz.

Christmas Decorations

This year I made a Christmas wreath. First wreath I have ever made and I think it turned out ok. Always room to improve. (The one I made is the larger wreath).
First year that I had a tree that I decorated my tree that I bought on sale last year. This was a huge step up from our 5 ft Alpine tree that served it's purpose for 6 years.
Here is the final look of our downstairs living room. Greysen did really well leaving the ornaments alone, but he couldn't keep his hands off my friends tree that had more the fun Hallmark ornaments that do cool stuff. I guess the key is to buy boring ornaments.
